interested in the source of the chairs and table
Hello! Those were custom designed and built for this home.
y and traditional accessories suits any transitional room.
Warm brown to chocolate wood tones are typically the only deep tones used in transitional designs.
So, you don't have two large back-lit display cases? Put sturdy shelves above a buffet or built-in cabinet and fill with a collection of
bowls come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors, but the material they have in common with each other (and the shelves and the table) keeps things copacetic. I think that's the first time I've ever used the word "copacetic" on Houzz.
cut-tin lamp in an otherwise subdued dining room adds just a hint of contrasting texture.

used to have a typewriter in that color; I love the wall color
walls in the main living area in a mottled chartreuse and gold. The vintage desk is home to old photographs, a blue antique typewriter that belonged to her father and other meaningful pieces.
Chartreuse on the WallsA bright green chartreuse makes these built-ins glow (notice how I didn't say "pop")

somewhat traditional railing that continues down to the deck floor in the same pattern that is showing above the bench, or do the dowels and posts just go to the top of the planters and bench (as it is on top of the cement wall?)
and take in the cushions when you are not using them. It's a pain but the cushion material is not the best outdoor material.
No problem! I love mad mats. I forgot to tell you, they are recycled plastic so they are great for out in the sun.
lives in Chgo has this exact garage roof deck..iI have been telling her for years to do this trellis all around the top of the capstone wall. Sending your info to her
that I built to fit the sofa seating and the seating by the dining area.
It is wonderful to view the flowers, etc.. outside. You don't feel pinned up in the house. However we found this to be a problem for our eyes due to the glare of sunlight.
I don't see an answer to where the desk came from. Kind of looks like a abuilt in?
built in desk @ bay window in kitchen?
Good Idea for desk in window
furniture in favor of a style that blends with the rest of your home. A Chippendale-style chair with armrests and a thick cushion is incredibly chic and almost as comfortable as a traditional desk chair. And unless you like the look of a bent-arm task lamp, no one is stopping you from choosing a glam table
notes: In this home office space, floral shades dripping with lush trim set a warm, romantic tone, echoed by the portrait, the floral painting and the bright orange armchair. Glossy black accents ground the arrangement and take the room in an elegant direction.

preserved in this long living area. Originally, this space was even more narrow, which made it feel more like a hallway than a living room. Herzog had the rear wall opened up quite a bit to provide more space. The transitional niche between the living room and kitchen helped open up the room too. Couch:
I am wondering how wide of a space I need to dedicate to a built in nook with bench only on one side an end of table. Chairs will go on opposite side and end. Thanks. Do you do work at the Cape?

marries a traditional cottage feel (beadboard panel and ceiling) with colorful accents (punchy throw pillow pattern and teal tableware).
streaming in through the windows, vintage-inspired light fixtures, mellow and cheerful colors, and unfussy surfaces. And of course a little beadboard never hurts.
Napoleon in their house :) and certainly the horse he rode in on :) for a door stop!! i love the table but i'm not sure about the chairs. i see they are eclectic, but they don't really fit the room or the table..at least for me, sorry :) what made you choose them?
I live in South Carolina and build tables like this. Feel free to email or contact me if you are still interested in having something built. I obviously can't promise that we will be the right fit for each other, but I would love to hear about what you are looking for.
