getaway for the urban elite is a bold re-interpretation of the classic cabin paradigm. Located atop the San Francisco Peaks the space pays homage to the surroundings by accenting the natural beauty with industrial influenced pieces and finishes that offer a retrospective on western lifestyle. Recently completed
completed, the design focused on furniture and fixtures with some emphasis on lighting and bathroom updates. The character of the space reflected the client's renowned personality and connection with the western lifestyle. Mixing modern interpretations of classic pieces with textured finishes the design
encapsulates the new direction of western.
What's the width of this area?
We are building and I like the compactness of this and the use of the horizontal mirrow and the simplicity of the design. Could you please tell me what is the width of the wall?

reason why the bath is on a platform?
Is the sink IKEA? If not, what?
How did they handle the tiolet? Was it also on a platform?
you know the name/brand of the color your front door? we're looking for just that shade to do our exterior. many thanks
The tub was a vintage purchase at a consignment store.
Yes - the sink is Ikea.
Very cool! What kind of stain did you use to bring out the blue tint of the beetle-kill pine
(When the pine beetle infests a tree, fungus spreads and produces the blue tinting you find in beetle-kill lumber.) Thanks for your question!
Love the platform & corrugated tin~
Love the tin as a wall panel. Make the bathroom match the kitchen?
would love to find proper place for the curvy metal "wainscoting"...bath, ?

The freestandig bath, feature tiles and curtain
BlueFor the bathers out there, here's a way to do a colorful bathroom that is also soothing and relaxing. It helps to have such a large, luxurious tub, of course, but you can turn any bathroom into a sanctuary by using tonal blues (blues that have some gray mixed in, making them less bright and more subdued)

Room off the first floor kitchen. Space was previously a closet under the main staircase. Walls were painted a beautiful coral color and then individual 6" x 6" silver leaf sheets were applied to the walls and ceiling. Steel wool was used to burnish the walls and give them more depth. The flooring is
set on the diagonal and then we used rich fused glass 1" x 1" tiles at each corner. The cabinet is a custom cabinet with exaggerated wood carved cabriole legs. The entire piece was sent off to be painted with a high gloss auto body paint. A mix of finishes is used; antique brass light fixture, nickel
use in the coral? I don't use the word divine, but this is it!
Love the walls! Are the walls textured? And also, did you apply the sheets in any particular pattern? Sealed? Glazed? Thanks!
