Acero Ceiling Fan with Light by Minka Aire Fans
What type of wood and stain did you use for the ceiling? thanks!
Where did you get the ceiling fan?
The fan was a post-construction purchase (electrical connection was built-in). We think that it's from Restoration Hardware, Acero without a light.
May I ask the make and model of your ceiling fans? The whole room is fantastic

for the kitchen vent / food? could you provide some details please....
I have a 20" garage apt. kitchen stove and
there a fan or anything in there? Or does it work like a funnel and vent through the roof? What did you attach the old light with? Appears to be some kind of grill in there. Thanks!!
The fan is far away, but as long as the pipe is sealed, it's pulling the same amount of air as it would if it were right at the stove. We have a grease catcher filter at the stove as well. No light.
Great, and so the fan is in the ceiling pulling the exhaust, well, pretty far, it appears, though
and a fan that fit the pipe.
Me three. Love that range hood. I've been looking at DIY range hood. I think standard galvanized round duct, an inline duct fan, and of coarse the range hood itself, would work. Just make sure you have a filter installed before the fan, otherwise that will get all gunked
