I definitely like the look of different chairs used together and it works well in this apartment. In my own place I hope to do this but paint the chairs the same color for cohesiveness.
A mismatched set of dining chairs — including two J77 Hay chairs designed by Folke Pålsson, a French antique flea market find and a Hans Wegner Wishbone chair — surrounds the very first sample of the couple's dining table, Table big. The only downside to the house was the absence of a formal dining room. Luckily, a round table and four chairs fit perfectly into the far corner of the kitchen.Table: Docksta, IKEA; chairs: Panton, Design Within ReachMore: Designs for Living: Cosy Breakfast

There is a well made affordable reproduction of this here: http://www.franceandson.com/ch28-sawhorse-easy-chair.html
This is the CH28 chair, designed in 1952. Though it's made of wood, it's deceptively lounge-y due to Wegner's careful consideration of comfort. If you are looking to buy a Wegner chair, I recommend trying Hivemodern and Design Within Reach for new chairs, and 1stdibs and eBay for vintage versions.
Scandinavian Modern: The Wegner Sawhorse CH28 Chair is one you'll want to show off all the time, but it's portable enough to move from place to place.

drapes. This home's fabric's design is all about autumn. Its sweeping fall to the floor and scale lets us fully appreciate the yellow and red ocher tones and ascending pattern of the fall leaves. The home office also feels current with the addition of a pair of velvet chairs in this season's on-trend blues

During this time there was a resurgence in interest in classical Greece and Rome, which you can see in the column-like legs and geometric carvings of Louis XVI chairs. There is
