What are the dimensions of this house? Patio area?
We're planning a full renovation of a Greek Revival style house in Park Slope, Brooklyn. This house seems of the similar size. We loved the design and the decoration.
How sqm floor area of this house?

Pewaukee Lake House
for your situation. THis home was new construction so we were able to do these things. I can see why that would be a problem on a renovation. We have a remodeling project coming up where we plan to use no gutters, but with a 3' overhang and 2' cantilever on the original home, we are 5 ft from the foundation
Glad you like it. The house is "green" in many ways (green building) but do you mean an actual greenhouse? We used many reclaimed materials and took indoor air quality and energy efficiency measures in this project. It also follows Sarah Susanka's "Not So Big House" rules in that it is about 1/3
1/3 smaller than the clients program originally called for... (in spite of that, it is still a large house...)

Thanks Posh. If I didn't have so many things go wrong with this renovation I may have taken a chance and installed it as you did in the above design. It actually still looks really nice installed higher, you just lose the
@ beehivebeehive: custom range hoods are made by a large variety of makers and artisans. Quite often, your kitchen cabinet maker / kitchen builder, in addition to building
a hood are provided by a "hood insert", which is a fully functional range hood package without the outer body. Pre-manufactured range hood insert + custom-built hood body = powerful kitchen hood. Another alternative is to look for pre-made complete hoods that are designed to be paintable and customizable
