create your own art the more abstract the better?
Grouped in similar frames, these casual works of art fit right in with the cozy decor of this breakfast nook.
Crowned with mini masterpieces, this breakfast nook feels like a cozy corner bistro. Notice the careful attention to detail — the cohesive white frames reflect the room's pale tones, while
while the colorful art echoes the brightly patterned tabletop. The effect is sophisticated yet not at all stuffy.
If a child can create these terrific works of abstract art, so can we! Buy a canvas as large as your wall will handle, get out your finger paints and let that creative child inside of you loose. The thing about

The more hearts the better! I love the idea of picking up hearts in various places and framing them to create a wall full of love. Even better would be if they all had handwritten love messages on them.
I "heart" hearts so this collection really caught my eye. I love the mix of frames, different backgrounds and sizes...all with a unifying theme.
How are the frames attached to the wall. We love this idea. Thanks!

THE FRames idea is awesome, I can put long flowers inside them, or hanging lamps
Love how these framed frames are also shelves!
LOVE the open back deep frames used as little shelves and then the different pieces hung in the center. Love this.
asymmetry. The asymmetry in this room works because it is balanced by the symmetry of the frames on the wall. The pendant shares the same centerline as the round table and small vertical frame, flanked by the two larger frames. Everything else within this framework is asymmetrical. I love how these chairs,

Eclectic edge. Unleash your inner designer when you’re rethinking a small dining area. The retro furniture works well with the mishmash of framed art on the wall behind. Add an oversized light fitting for

found her retro-pink vintage dining table and chairs at an auction in South Africa. The pendants above the dining table were being thrown out at an art school in Melbourne — Mills stopped by just in time to save four of them for her dining and living room spaces. This open living area is Mills's favorite

Where are the frames from? I have a wall just like this and would LOVE to know!
fill a vertical space with art
13. Fill a vertical space. Have a narrow slice of wall to fill? Hang art in the space all the way from the floor to the ceiling. You could do this on a large wall, but this is a great way to try out a dramatic gallery-style wall without making such a big commitment.

Not a coffee shop, but I like the art arrangement, and diversity of the prints and framing.
upscale sideboard cupboard, with room for serving a buffet, and wall art or a mirror above.
wall of mix and match frames along the back wall in the dining area or reception room, generally.
If committing to large pieces of furniture seems daunting, kitschy art — some with dark themes, such as this print of a skull (top right) — works to give a space a mysterious allure that would be lost if the art all fell within the same theme as the rest of the room.
century by repainting it in a soft grey shade. A dark floor adds a further splash of grey and a mix of vintage and design classic chairs with a mismatched art display seal the eclectic look.

Interesting mix of pictures, photos and frames.
festivities, consider creative details when it comes to your holiday table. Setting the mood can be as simple as stringing fairy lights around a door frame or hanging votive candles from tabletop arrangements. Flickering light makes everything feel warmer and more romantic.

What is the framed collage of? Is it ribbons? Would love to get a closer look. Looking to do something for my son and his Cross Country Ribbons. Was thinking of a poster frame. Looks great.
Thanks! After asking, I noticed the frame looked thick. Are they mounted on something or is it a canvas print of the matchbooks. It just looks thicker than a poster frame.
Free gum art hung over a book shelf says, why can't I? Mix matched yet matched chairs. Match book art.
colors.... shelves.... table.....chairs. AND - they use MATCHBOOKS FOR ART.. All in that frame by the hutch. Do that with Greg's grandmother's matchbook collection.
