Hello Chris Snook. What are the colors of the walls. Thanks
Check out Majestic Mount paint by Behr. I just painted an accent wall in my room and the color is similar to this. http://www.behr.com/consumer/ColorDetailView/620F-5
I put something similar on one of my walls. If you like a rich gray, try Benjamin Moore Dior #2133-40

LOVE the light on the ceiling!
I love the way the light curves around the ceiling, would love to use up lights in our basement hallway but I don't think we'll be able to curve the ceiling. Do the up light still look alright on a regular boxy ceiling?
hall were only 6-7 feet long, would a barrel seem odd? What style/height is the ceiling in the bedroom. Looking above the doorway, it appears the wall may go up a ways. Is it higher than the barrel arch?
Yes, up lights work on 90 degree angles. I would install them lower than shown here and perhaps add an interesting crown (that could add a bit of an arch).

Can you tell me if the walls are a special paint treatment?
the tall cabinet application you see here. The upper display cabinets are 12" in height. Perfect for the small lighted display box! Truly custom made for this arrangement.
Love the light fixtures! Great pick.
Thanks you guys! The reason I asked, though, is that it appeared to me that the kitchen is long and narrow and that the width (sink wall to refrig. wall) would be the 10' width and wouldn't accommodate the island with proper clearances. But obviously, that must be the 13' measurement??
