Glass wall/door is closed in this photo. Kitchen area behind glass wall.
Glass sliding door with costum pic
I like the idea of doing some sort of etched design in the glass wall
patterned glass wall closed. Like the slatted wall, this sliding wall lets some light reach the kitchen through the bedroom. It also presents an interesting image of nature when the viewer is in the kitchen, far removed from the real thing.

thinner glass blocks that are "pre-curved." http://innovatebuildingsolutions.com/products/glass-block/glass-block-shower
The glass blocks are just normal and not curved. The blocks are just set individually in a curved pattern. The overall effect resembles a curved wall.
curved wall and bathroom above! When you do a slight curve (like in the image above) the curvature is created using regular glass blocks and the mortar joint is varied (the inside joint is thinner - usually about 1/8") and the outside joint is larger (usually around 5/8"). What is nice is if you're
curved glass block (that can actually be prefabricated into sections) - which not only makes the project easier to do - but it maintains the grout joints at a tight 1/8" both on the inside and the outside. In the site link below check out the thinner glass block series (3 1/8" thick) that makes the nicest
