Use recycled materialsTo save money when building a shed, cubby house or garden studio, check out demolition and scrap yards or online auctions for potential materials. Fallen logs, leftover doors and other construction materials were used to build the garden shed above. Many people are also now repurposing

Does this garage have a room above it?.. How much to build?
home builders in Vermont to use this approach to get the most out of their sq. footage. and budget. A self designed dream house, with a car storage, with possible heat on both levels is appealing for several reasons. Also the garage space could be turned into a workshop studio type of space as well
I would guess the building is about 10' to 12' wide, about 12' to the bottom of the eave, and about 16' to the top of the ridge.
to see what the basic answer was to Vermonte9's question. This building seems long , with many design elements going on in the roof , most likely for functional reasons. Anyway, would love to get more pics of the interior as well as both sides and the back of this structure. It is fairly common for home

The siding is Cedar 1 x 10 T&G ( left to weather naturally) installed over building paper and 1/2" exterior grade plywood. The garage is clad in the original siding from the old barn that was dismantled.
