bedroom shows off its sloping walls with pride and is consequently a bright, energetic space. A minimal bed and desk area slot in neatly and make this teenager’s room a fun retreat.
Use space under a windowWhen space is tight, you may have no choice but to position a bed under a window, but this doesn’t
Big up the walls and ceilingDrawing the eye away from the limited floor footprint and up to the walls and ceiling helps create an illusion of space. So rather than paint these surfaces in white, treat them to dramatic wallpaper and a handful of patterns, and then leave the desk and bedding plain

they did above the bathroom. This is a really good idea to save space!
I have been trying to figure out the code for loft space with respect to stairs vs ladders. Everything I've seen seems to indicate that if the space is "inhabitable"(coded by size ) then it must have stairs not ladder
Love the bathroom under the bed! Great use of space
Something like this to give extra space for the kids in their rooms.
Extra loft space with office underneath
3. Design a teen zoneThis ultra-cool bedroom solves two needs in one for teenage girls: the loft bed gives her a sense of her own space, and the ensuite bathroom installed underneath allows her to spend as much time as she likes in front of the mirror. Brilliant!

I like the multi-functioning floor space of this. Great for the boys.
Once old enough, build bunk bed to give her space to play underneath
4. Design a hangout areaIf your ceilings are high enough, raising the bed allows you to make use of the space underneath. The usual use for such a space is for a desk, but this bedroom idea is even better. The padded bench seats on either side of the table make for a comfy place for completing homework

the bench with dolls, trucks, clothes or what have you, an antique bench with a cushion upholstered in playful fabric adds a youthful charm to the space. It’s also the perfect spot for your toddler to learn how to tie his shoes.
Rotate toys.Once you have removed old, unloved and broken toys from the stash, you still may have more left than comfortably fits on the existing shelf space. Instead of rushing out to buy more storage, I urge you to give this age-old trick a try. Put about a third of your child's toys out on display, then
a go I think you'll find cleanup time much easier. Plus, when it's time to rotate toys, the old ones will feel brand new. What if you have no closet space to spare? No problem. Here are some creative ways to hide toys in plain sight.Fill vintage suitcases with extra toys and stack them in a corner. Voilà

fanciful third floor retreat area for children at our beach house (bunks)
We've sold this home, but… the room is quite large. It is an attic space with the bunks tucked under the hip wall (under the eaves, where the roof slopes) and with plenty of other space for TV watching, game table, etc. We made the bunks/cubbies long enough to accommodate an
I would like those two back spaces in a living room
I like the part were you can get in that little space you can close the cretins
