Love the dining table. Is it vintage?
3. Humor and irreverence. This kitchen has it going on. And it's a lucky space in that the dining area is part of the kitchen, so more layering with furniture pieces is possible. (With a kitchen that's compartmentalized away from the rest of the house, it's tougher to achieve

I love this color. It's very warm and easy to design with various furniture colors or accent furniture. This color also blends well with rich earth tones easily.

these Eames chairs. Tip: Colors don't have to be bright to pop in a space. Here, the light turquoise chairs stand out against the neutral colors of the dining space.
I love this room. It's warm and bright. Would love to do something in these tones with my hearthroom/kitchen area. Thank you.
Beautiful room! Thank you for sharing it with us!
an overprint of larger terracotta floral sprays. Its been a while, but I think the fabric was a bit shiny, like a heavy taffeta. The swags in the dining nook were terracotta taffeta, that same fabric lined the bells over the sink and eventually I made operable roman shades in the taffeta that went under
I did not do the chairs, but I don't think they are the same fabric. It is a spectacular room, so fun to work on!
Can u tell me the colors in the curtains. You see, my kitchen is very similar to this one if you remove the room to the left. Countertop and floor are similar in color. I have a hard time coordinating colors in my kitchen. I really like the way you made it so inviting

I love this kitchen. I was wondering what the dimensions were. We are adding a level and remodeling. It looks like I will have a 16x13 space to work with, and I was hoping I would have enough room to work in some aspects of this design.
Who made the lighting fixture over the dining table?

addition that houses a new mudroom, kitchen and breakfast room. The addition is long and narrow to preserve several mature Japanese maples, visible through the breakfast room bay. The addition mimics the roof lines of the house, but is clad in wood shingles, siding and a coated copper roof to distinguish
This early 1900's stone and brick house had a cramped kitchen and a rear entrance addition that blocked views to the yard. We were asked to enlarge the kitchen, add an area for a breakfast table and improve the entry. By demolishing the existing rear entrance, we were able to create a large addition
