It's Golden Thunder granite....or something very similar. Possibly Magma Gold. There are a few different names for it too...Sedna, Volcano, etc. http://www.granitegurus.com/2011/03/our-five-top-granite-colors-in-2010.html

What kind of marble is the backsplash tile? Im getting Super White Granite too and I'm
what kind of granite is that?
fantacy/ superwhite would scratch easily with the glass bottle. The granite would and real quartzite would actually scratch the glass bottle. I also tried putting lemon and tomato sauce and it would stain on the super white even though the granite yard claimed that the super white was a quartzite. I'd recommend
recommend taking your time and doing your own tests! I ended up going with granite because it was cheaper and I liked a granite called Arctic Cream or Alaska White. It's much more durable than the superwhite as much as I love the way superwhite looks

I'm planning to do 1/2" border at the top and bottom so I suppose I could make a mini box to lay them all in and attach that to the wall. What materials might you use? Thanks

technical issues. Some people don't like that soapstone acquires a rustic patina over time that may become at odds with the more polished look of the granite. Other people like that contrast.
antique white cabinets and maple mixed with wood color trim and wood floor also like the light color granite (like giallo ornamental?)
