This small laundry closet (that many new construction homes have these days) was made useful by adding a work surface to sort and fold clothes. The walls were clad in horizontally-applied stained pallet boards, complemented by a salvaged piece of granite. Pipes were used for shelf supports. This laundry room has a unique potting bench that serves as a laundry hamper on one side, and a pet food storage area on the other. The stone pathway leads through the laundry room as if you were outdoors. Authentic-looking outdoor lanterns give task lighting at this potting bench.
