What brand is the ceiling fan?
Love the size and layout of the room. All the light!!
like the way the ceiling fan blends into the ceiling
I hate ceiling fans, but they're a necessity in Tennessee. I think we ought to put a white ceiling fan in the den to make it less prominent. It looks great here.

Ceiling Fan with Light by Minka Aire Fans
Where did you get the ceiling fan?
The fan was a post-construction purchase (electrical connection was built-in). We think that it's from Restoration Hardware, Acero without a light.
May I ask the make and model of your ceiling fans? The whole room
Really like the light green walls and white trim on the windows

where can I buy the ceiling fan
I would like details on the ceiling fan as well.
Yellow looks brighter on the wall than in the can. Start with Ben Moore's Ginseng Root/386 or Sherwin's Day Break/6700. I see a hint of green undertone, but it might be the lighting. Pretty!

So is there a fan or anything in there? Or does it work like a funnel and vent through the roof? What did you attach the old light with? Appears to be some kind of grill in there. Thanks!!
white bit is something I picked up at a Habitat Re:Store, most likely a old light fixture. The fan is a new bathroom fan with a 1950s style grill.
I picked up that white shroud part first, and then found pipe and a fan that fit the pipe.
Old stove....AND old fans! Looks like my kitchen! :0)
The fan is far away, but as long as the pipe is sealed, it's pulling the same amount of air as it would if it were right at the stove. We have a grease catcher filter at the stove as well. No light.
looking at DIY range hood. I think standard galvanized round duct, an inline duct fan, and of coarse the range hood itself, would work. Just make sure you have a filter installed before the fan, otherwise that will get all gunked up with grease. I'm going to give it a try. Great idea.

to add charm to any style of home. When there’s a fireplace added to the mix, it can be an unbeatable combination. On the flip side: Dusting fans and changing light bulbs are more challenging chores when vaulted ceilings come into play. A small thing, perhaps, but if teetering atop a towering ladder is
