Tiles are ceramic 12x24 tiles from Avalon Carpet and Flooring. The tiles are laid in a chevron pattern for this interesting effect.

these floors are indeed amazing. being that they are pine how
to have tile but I ripped out all of it and now I am looking to put back wood. I am afraid it's a big step but at this point I am already half way there
