Grey on fireplace matches my painting
Red brick, blue chairs and tan sofa. Colors that will be in my living room. Not nautical. :)
chairs in the living room cost $35 at a neighbor's estate sale. Quimby reupholstered the seats with old coffee bean sacks and jeans. She designed the fireplace hearth with scraps of wood from the old sunporch.

Questions5
I am currently having contractors demo my kitchen and expose a brick chimney that vents the furnace. Was there anything special you did to make sure the brick was clean? Some of the brick has plaster on it and I'd like to suggest to the contractor that they scrape it off or somehow
Love this brick. Any way to find out the name and maker?
The fireplace area looks great! Please can you tell me what did the contractor use to enhance the color of the bricks.I want the bricks around my fireplace to be exposed exactly the way you have got it done.I was successful in removing the layers of paint from it and now can see the original bricks, but
but the issue is that the redness of the bricks is not highlighted enough;also I am not looking to paint them a red color-any suggestions on what product to use to make the original color stand out more. Thanks!
