I don't recall. I built this home in 2008. There are numerous options available with metallic finishes, though
the arts and crafts series by Emtek. I chose the hammered finish for this home.
1x4 for base but I think I would stick with the 1x6 base and use color and design to stretch the space upwards. Maybe consider taking the mirrors to ceiling
