gallery wall idea for upstairs hall
Gallery wall with shelves? Too much dusting?
Like this for the stair well wall
Wall decor idea. Hallway, top of stairs or bedroom
Commitment-phobe. I have always liked picture rails as a way of displaying a collections of small images or photos. You get the effect of the gallery wall without committing to one composition and many nail holes. You can easily rotate images by swapping out the frames only.

A wall sconce like this would look nice
Heading upstairs to the loft, a colorful gallery wall showcases a collection of art, prints and photographs. The couple changes the composition and images often to keep things fresh. The most recent update in the house was done by Matt, who tore out the carpet on the stairs and replaced it with wood.
The upstairs skylight floods the loft with natural light during the day. The wall sconce is an excellent choice for ambient light at night or on one of the many gray and rainy Vancouver days.Wall sconce: Ariette by Tobia Scarpa for Flos
