What's a good source for terra cotta tiles like these?
Is this tile slippery when your feet are wet? Bare feet or wet shoes
Are all the Mexican type tiles slippery when walking with wet feet?
I notice they are more uniform in color than traditional Satillo tiles in their natural pastel color tones. Did you stain them? Did you enhance them before sealing? We are looking to lay down Satillo too but want them darker & uniform like yours. Thanks!

Thank you very much! These are spanish tiles and they sell them at most tile stores---they are very reasonable and easy to clean. Mine are sealed so have some sheen to them.

what kind of tile is in the fireplace
That's Tabarka Studio - available at many retailers. They don't sell directly to the public. Try Ann Sacks or Artistic Tile.
Longer length of tile on the floor (extends past wood surround), and tile pattern
Tile but not the color of the wood
don't like busy tile finishing out at bottom
Wood mantle with stone or tile interior
Hand-painted terra-cotta tile adds a modern twist to a more traditional fireplace mantle. Here tile continues down to the hearth, but you could easily keep your existing hearth material or change it out to a stone slab.
many older mantels have been painted, so we never see their original glory. Even though the mantel looks very traditional, a patterned tile is used that's echoed in the varied bold prints of the rug and the ottoman. This room proves you can have a traditional finish but mix it with bold, fresh patterns

The floor tiles are beautiful. Who is the manufacturer? Many thanks!
instead of traditional backsplash, maybe use limestone...maybe even the rattlesnake limestone tiles.

This glazed porcelain tile looks like terracotta. Crossville has a similar tile called Color Blox, which has a color body.

I would like to know the following: type of tile, size of tile, color of the tile and grout information?
Hi, I love this clean, neutral look with the mexican tile. Would you mind sharing the paint color of walls, trim and ceiling? I just bought a small apt. with the same floors and would like to achieve this look. Many thanks.
that these are not OUR tiles. But we do provide these Saltillo 12" x 12" Super Sealed. It seems that this installation has a 1-1.5" grout line. Please visit our website to look at a similar installation and prices! www.clayimports.com
I would like to know the size of the tile please....
it would help keep the modern clean style working. The tile will need help from rugs.

13. Tile your backplash. Adding tile is the surest way to add personality to a kitchen — and function, too. No more splatter marks on the drywall behind the stove.

Love this backsplash! Where can I get these tiles? Thanks! Kim
Do you have any tips for a tile wall behind the stove?
I thought I was replying about the tile, not the pot rack :) Kitchen Lab said 'Ikea' though, in the first reply. Regards, Ingrid
mj, if you are referring to mixing the custom printed tiles with glass or any other type of tile, YES. Our customers do it all the time
time, as it serves to set the custom tile mural section off from the surroundings.
Do you think these can be mixed with a more contemporary glass tile on a backsplash, say a white glass subway tile? Maybe with these on the bottom the way they are in the picture?
Work with your tile store to see all the options available. Use a good store--even the best ones have all ranges of price points. The tiles that are out there will knock your socks off. Choose something that's easy to keep clean
