Very pretty! Where did you purchase the screen behind the chair?
Use 1/2 a screen behind chair to add height
Stools placed next to a window provide great seating for enjoying the view without blocking it for the rest of the room. These little stools are very ornate and make me think of a British colonial home in Africa.

The diamond-patterned windows in this room were custom made to match the original 1845 windows throughout the home. They are from Norwood Windows (www.norwoodwindows.ca).

When it's still too hot to open windows and doors, leave windows shadeless and use shutters instead. Keep them flung open for the appearance of wide-open windows. It is no true substitute, but it is better than a closed-off window smothered in curtains.

Now that's an idea. A sewing desk built into a bay window! Think of all the light!
beautiful way to use a bay window too. Again, make sure your windowsills are at the proper height for the desktop, and it’s ideal if you don’t have any baseboard heaters in the way. Keep an eye on the sunlight to make sure the glare isn’t too strong on your computer monitor; window treatments can regulate
