The stone floors in this image, and throughout the home, are antique pillowed limestone. The pieces are about 18" x 24" and can be seen in the living room, kitchen and master bedroom of this project as well. The color varies quite a bit from piece to piece.
This is an antique sconce, but check 20th Century Lighting. They have antique reproduction pieces that are beautiful and similar. This sconce is about 18" high without the candles.

windows - raise off floor by 18"" to avoid building a window seat
a fixed window can be a good choice. Fixed windows can be combined with operable windows to save money. If your window, fixed or otherwise, is within 18 inches of the floor or near a window seat, you'll need to order tempered glass for safety.
