The tile floor is Belgium blue stone from Devon Tile.
Hello! Hard to tell exactly, but it's very close to a blue limestone we carry. Love the pattern! We do this in large format sizes. It's strangely hard and soft at the same time...limestone in the toes!!! http://surfacesusa.com/products-p

Are the floor tile mosaic or large format tile?
What material is the tiled floor? Stone mosaic?
This floor looks beautiful! Reminds me of old cement tile patterns. Would love to know if this is a mosaic tile and the details of the material. Thanks
Were the tiles Pre-cut or Custom cut ?

Spanish Revival Restoration
This restoration and addition had the aim of preserving the original Spanish Revival style, which meant plenty of colorful tile work, and traditional custom elements. Here's a look at the completely restored and rebuilt front entry.
Is that traditional satillo tile in the center? What type of stain was used to achieve rich brick color?

What kind of tile is this? What is it called?
What size tiles are needed for this pattern and in what proportion?
This strongly resembles Noce/Walnut, chipped edge, french pattern travertine, that can be purchased at Stone-Mart in Tampa, Florida. They mine it themselves from a quary in Turkey.
It looks like a Versailles travertine pattern. You can usually find this in stone and ceramic versions. Hope this helps. Beautiful entry way!

Hi Jennifer, are those the original tiles or are they reproduction? I would love more information. Thank you! Kathy Marlin, Miami
Hi Kathy, The tiles are from a custom tile studio in California called California Pottery Tiles. The are a custom studio and produce historical reinterpretations of the famous Malibu tiles from the 20's. Their website is http://www.calpot.com/ and they have an application where you can select your colors
people to deal with. There is another picture of a bathroom with light blue tiles and a mermaid ..the client like light blue and we custom created the mermaid and picked the colors. They are known for their handmade ceramic tile: Old Malibu, Catalina & Arts & Crafts styles. Have fun!!
