choose a tile or wood or cork flooring in a very light color that somehow can give me this feeling . So few products come in shades similar to stained concrete and that ones that do are expense for me.Or do I choose a black wood floor since no other color seems to match all the elements in the house yet
spots of glue (they glue in the lights on the sides, and when a piece of glue gets on the door, they wipe it off (per my paint/stain man) and the door "looks" clean, but the stain doesn't take in those places, so I now have spots...but they are putting stain on the spots, then using sandpaper to rub it

larger tile and your tile intaller can cut them down to any size while on-site. Or, ask your local marble supplier and they can oftentimes cut a stock size down for you as well. We always match up thicknesses of tile for an installation like this; it's possible to accommodate tiles of different thicknesses
