The rich combination of textures and materials comes together near the entry as the smooth concrete floors end in the honed black granite fireplace plinth, and in the band of spotted gum wood floors which transition smoothly into gray granite pavers under the custom entry bench. No, the city where this project was done did not require glass over an existing wood-burning fireplace.

information on the brick floor; I love it!
I love the walls. What are they made of? What is the paint color?
We are restoring an old farmhouse. Are the walls plank? Or are they made of a composite material? Also, we're going with white on the walls. What paint is on the wall? Thank you for
Can you please tell me the species and plank specs on these walls?
The walls are wood planks. The color was Elephant Tusk by Benjamin Moore but it was done at double strength to compensate for how the wood absorbs the paint
this could be similar to the upstairs master and bathroom

Hi very nice, ,what is used on the floor?
Hello, the stone is Rocky Mountain Quartz Flagstone, random sizes – Note that thicknesses of quartz pieces will vary – installer must build up floor as necessary to ensure even surface. Check out the whole house story here; http://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/5687533/list/Houzz-Tour--A-Luxurious-L

I love the look of how the tile goes right up to the stairs with a border. I noticed that in the adjoining room, there are wood floors stained vs. the painted treads. How did you transition this on the 2nd floor? Are the floors stained on the 2nd floor at the top step?
What is that flooring in the flyer? It is beautiful and very different! Love it!
Possibly entry way organization - play room to the right as you walk in the door; storage room behind kitchen to the left as you walk in the door.
? Black door and black wall unit.

At a college warehouse sale. Check out your local college storehouses!
According to information about this photo, the lockers are salvage pieces most likely purchased at a warehouse sale.
Not so red, but I love the stools and the sort of backsplash underneath (the previous owners left a LOT of white tile)
Small kitchens are always in need of more storage. Designer and storage expert Joanne Palmisano tackled this issue with an old set of lockers found at a warehouse sale.
this would be a cool idea for a garage! could you find old lockers for sale in a ware house? on craigs list?
coats, backpacks, crocs, etc. They can also serve as extra kitchen space for china, linens, pantry items, Tupperware — you name it.
