I would start with White Oak. I typically don't like to see any red in my floors. Mostly browns or grey undertones.
It is a dark brown, the front door is black. "Night Shade" I just painted on my interior doors throughout my own house and it's perfect & would be gorgeous on a dark

First I have to say this entry is spectacular and so incredibly creative! We want to change our medium oak stair rails to a darker color & this is beautiful. Is the stair rail the same color as the wood flooring? Would love to know the brand, style
grade Porcelain tiles from Tile Depot with tile spacing at 1/16" which provides a clean seamless look. This spacing requires minimal matching cream and brown grout and the tight spacing means no grout maintenance. grey and black wall color with a dark brown floor, as long as the grain in your wood isn't overly busy to draw attention away from the stripes. Dark brown, grey and black are all neutrals in my opinion...and they all work together (I do grey walls with dark brown floors quite often). Just ask yourself

Quiz Result - Brown front door
front door color should be …Brown: You’re so down-to-earth, some people mistake you for being too serious. You value security and smarts, and tend to gravitate toward natural beauty and materials. Maybe you’re an old soul, or maybe you’re just balanced. Your door should be brown.

I love the stain. The local web examples I've been viewing look redish (TX). This one appears to be a black/brown color. Do you remember the color of the stain? Thanks for taking the time to explain
