How thick is the cork, how is it attached & where did u get the cork?
Would you be willing to share the height from the floor to the bench?
attached it-glued? Please answer... My husband and I have just finished our plans for a lake house and I would love to include the cork in my mudroom! Thank you...
We bought the cork online w the sticky back already attached. It was thicker than what u can buy at a big box store.
I have the same question as a previous person although, it was never answered. How thick is the cork, where did you find it, and how did you attached
The base color is Benjamin Moore #1672 Alfresco. It has a brown glaze applied over it. Everyone who sees the cabinet loves the color.

attempt an indoor water feature in my home. It's my hope that placing it near our music room will help maintain sufficient humidity for instruments with soundboards. As I design the piece, I'm curious to know the total gallon capacity of the reservoir (since it must hold all water in the system) and
I assume the pump can be turned off or on by a switch, did you consider a timer or humidistat? Lastly, is the water reservoir auto replenished with a float valve and it's own plumbed water source? I have to assume evaporation could remove a gallon or two for each full day of operation. Thanks much
How is the water feature installed and who was the manufacturer? Is it partial custom with a kit or was it all purchased together and installed in a niche? Thanks!

Did you use a semi floss finish, or satin on floor?
grade floor too. We do a lot with both character and select grade walnut. The water based poly finish will keep the floor looking natural while an oil based poly finish will often turn it more golden.

Beautiful walnut floors! Were they finished with an oil based or water based finish?
(1) Is this an engineered wood or solid hardwood product? (2). Is there a particular reason the floor was laid in this direction as opposed to running them from the entrance door to the opposite wall? I've heard this
this makes for cleaner sight lines...although it's possible you had a floor joist consideration?
The floors in the photo you inquired about were finished with a water based finish. Thank you for your question!
They really are very pretty. The oiled based finish would give the floors a golden color while the water based finish would be a clear finish. We just made this floor and it was

An existing house was deconstructed to make room for 7200 SF of new ground up construction including a main house, pool house, and lanai. This hillside home was built through a phased sequence of extensive excavation and site work, complicated by a single point of entry. Site walls were built using true dry stacked stone and concrete retaining walls faced with sawn veneer. Sustainable features include FSC certified lumber, solar hot water, fly ash concrete, and low emitting insulation with 75% recycled content.

Thanks for your interest, the side lite window is 1'-6" wide by 4'-2" high. The whole unit to the base molding is 6'-6" high.
Any information on flooring? Type of wood? Width?
Taliberman you could get a similar look from reclaimed heart pine floors in wide widths, notice I said similar and not the same. The patina from an old floor is hard to duplicate. Another option would be a dirty top reclaimed pine floor. Let me know if you have any other questions. email@example.com

What is the name of the floor? Wood type, color?
