What is the wall covering? Is it paneling, wainscoting, or tongue and groove? I love the look and would like to try it in my living room.

maybe there is another turn because of the high ceilings. And can the turn be on the outside of the house to cut down on land space taken, create a covering veranda at the from door and also not blocking the height over the front door at the entrance.
