I am guessimg that the floor is commercial grade lenolium. my question is: do you have to polish it or can you leave it with out polish? some of the flooring places are trying to talk me out of it in the laundry room saying

First I have to say this entry is spectacular and so incredibly creative! We want to change our medium oak stair rails to a darker color & this is beautiful. Is the stair rail the same color as the wood flooring? Would love to know the brand, style & color of wood portion of floor

Nice ideas for basement - shiny ceiling reflects light, sliding door is sleek, shiny floor also reflects light. Bit of painted brick also brings a bit of warmth.
