I like the water under the walkway
Walking over water is just about the coolest thing ever. However, I fear my dogs would use is as their personal water dish.

How much would it cost to keep the water flowing per year?
because I know that the water has to be kept moving or clean.
The water is on a recycling system. However, I do not have exact costs of running the system.
Something about the downhill and the water descending- we have vertical in this house - we should exploit it to tie the house together perhaps....this is set up to step over water at some point which I like

The door is a custom made steel frame, with copper water pipe as cladding for the finish. The copper water pipe had a patina finish applied to it to match the copper panels on the fireplace you see in the foreground. You will notice

Another way to fill an empty corner in the entryway is with a cozy bench. Either built in or freestanding, amply proportioned seating feels luxurious in the entryway — and is practical for removing mucky shoes, too.
