I like the water under the walkway
Walking over water is just about the coolest thing ever. However, I fear my dogs would use is as their personal water dish.

How much would it cost to keep the water flowing per year?
because I know that the water has to be kept moving or clean.
The water is on a recycling system. However, I do not have exact costs of running the system.
Something about the downhill and the water descending- we have vertical in this house - we should exploit it to tie the house together perhaps....this is set up to step over water at some point which I like

Another way to fill an empty corner in the entryway is with a cozy bench. Either built in or freestanding, amply proportioned seating feels luxurious in the entryway — and is practical for removing mucky shoes, too.
