What type of tile are used in this home?
This is antique French pillowed limestone that you can see in most spaces of this home including the kitchen. Below is a local Carmel Valley source known for their many antique French building products including stone floors, roof tile and fireplaces. http://www.jandeluz.com
The stone floors in this image, and throughout the home, are antique pillowed limestone. The pieces are about 18" x 24" and can be seen in the living room, kitchen and master bedroom of this project as well

Love how the french doors separate the entryway from the heart of the home.
molding, staircase, banister and other architectural fixtures are all original to the home. The checkboard marble floor by the front door, popular in the 1920s, inspired many of the choices made throughout the home.
