The exterior was rejuvenated from tired to alive by residing the home with James Hardie cement board siding with accented trim around the windows and outside corner boards. We added

For a family with two young children a clean, open entry was key. A gold modern open work light fixture was used above a flat weave rug which works well when coming in from outdoors. Floors were stained dark walnut from the previous pecan color for a more dramatic look.

The bench seat in the entry was planned for during the design process of this home. Once a house has been built, if the space is not there because the original design opportunity has been missed, perhaps you
removed them for a more streamlined look. I have not seen this style at Circa myself, which carries primarily the Visual Comfort line.
