Hill House
for your question. The timber flooring is recycled Grey Ironbark, a very dense timber native to Australia. The timber was sourced from an old bridge in Queensland that was disassembled then re-milled into floorboards.
Hi Ermis, the floor is made from recycled Grey Ironbark timber, a tree native to Australia
(you can see another one in the rear of the photo on the second wall). The yellowish walls are stabilised rammed earth: a bit like concrete but more rustic. They involve the compaction of successive layers of dirt into a formwork. It's a very beautiful material, perfect for rural projects.
