Cool idea to empty your pockets when you get home.
What a smart way to make use of the odd niches of space that splits tend to have. These floating shelves would be right at home in my foyer, which is way too small for a freestanding piece of furniture.
This isn't a charging station, but it certainly could be with the addition of a power strip. Right by the front door is a very handy spot for your electronic necessaries. The recessed niche makes things look much tidier than if they were all sitting
Get charged up. Electronics are just a fact of life. Embrace cord management with a good-looking charging station right in the entry. This works particularly well for townhouses or lofts with an entry level on the bottom floor and public spaces and bedrooms above.More:

Wow, I'm building a new house and this door is exactly what we want to set it off. Also, the rest of the house is gorgeous as well. What a wonderful home.
Thank you for your interest in this home. The home was designed by Stephen Fuller from Atlanta, GA. Please contact Brandon at Stephen Fuller Designs(also on Houzz) for this information.
privacy do you want? If your front door faces a busy sidewalk or street, you might not want a lot of clear windows that allow people to look right into your home. But you might still want some light to enter. Transom windows, sidelights and even panes on the door itself allow light in but maintain privacy

Though I've never seen a orange-and-white zebra in the wild, its look has found its rightful place in home decor. Not only does this idea expand our color creativity, it is an animal-friendly option, too. Clever. More: Your Guide to HidesDecorating
Faux hides. If you're like me and love the look of hide but just don't want it in your home, faux is the way to go! Jonathan Adler has a great wool option that will add a funky twist to your space while still being kind to our beloved bovine

The white doors on the right
Nice size foyer with a hall closet and 1/2 bath right off the entrance, and nice for guest use.
Love the white closet door next to the wooden entry front door. I have the same layout in my home (wooden exterior door sitting next to a closet door) and was wondering how to go about choosing the style and color of the closet door.

Thank you for the very informative comment previously about the floor color. I absolutely LOVE your home and the floor color is fantastic. Everyone I speak to about dark floors says its hard to keep the clean and they show scratches easily. Because online
