Is this floor slate? Pietre Cardosa? Porcelain? honed? Flamed? Thanks!
floor material, pattern & varying size of tiles is beautiful - have not seen floor w/that much size variation
grout lines using tile or other material since grout stains/looks bad easily. Thought there must be a rule that grout spacing couldn't be narrow b/c of expansion/contraction since I've never seen narrow grout lines. Is this not true? Why are most grout lines wider? Also have heard slate is not recommended
unevenness - is this type slate more uniform? It does not look uneven - it is beautiful, especially in contrast w/the wood. This is truly a beautiful application.
Hi could you please telle me what grout color you used? It looks lighter than the tiles, is it? Thanks!

(http://tiledoctor.com/)? They have an awesome new grout product called Starlike that would look wonderful with this slate, and it's a great option for a durable, stain-resistant grout as well. We're hoping to give customers inspiration for various looks they can use this product with. By using this photo

Do you remember the tile used in the floor entry? And the accent pieces? So fun to see the outside textures inside.
What was the tile used in the niche?
Like the tile wall in the entry but this might be something that you would hate in 10 years.
