This photo has 1 question
sure of the exact name of the stone. Please check with the builder - Greg Reynolds, Reynolds Custom Homes. His office number is 512..306-0001. This house is located on Mt. Larson in Austin, Texas and was completed about one to two years ago.
The stone, copper cladding, and the mullions represent some of the conceptual revisions to CCD very nicely.

Last comment "metal front door"
This photo has 1 question
at is the door made of? Where can I find something similar to use in a student project?
The recycled metal industrail looking door works well in this loft like space. I also like the painted floors. This would work well on salvaged dimensional lumber.
Love breaking up the space with glass
instead of the wood??

This photo has 1 question
at is the wood on the side? Is this Mahogany?
The Door is VG Fir with an Engineered Core as it is 42" wide by 8' tall
Thanks. I am considering this for my front porch. It is actually covered and therefore realtively well protected. I assume the door is actually Mahogony and to be honest I am having Ceder and Mahogony quoted for all. I am afraid
afraid of the delta but think it may last longer. Thanks

property. The goal of our clients was to create a traditionally styled home that incorporated as many “Passive” Sustainable Ideas as possible to minimize energy and water use. Additionally, Indoor Air Quality was maximized by using no/low VOC materials and exceptional air conditioning/heating systems and
filtration. The design also incorporates an “Active” Solar Panel PV System that generates 4.2 Kilowatts of electricity. The home received an Energy Star rating of 36 HERS and has received LEED Platinum Certification. Photography by Ashley Seagroves
Reminds me of the way our house flows through from the front door
