The stairs in this home are custom designed. The wood is European Oak. They wood was sourced by the same custom wood flooring company who was hired to manufacture, install and finish the wood floors. The treads were made to our specifications: wood, design, sizing, finish. You can buy treads online,
through wood floor vendors, and you can also custom design them and have a skilled manufacturer make them to your specifications. I hope this answers your questions.
