Hi, can you please tell me if the type of wood used and the stain?ths
This is a clear finish on all heart, vertical grain, Western Red Cedar.
It is all-heart vertical grain Red Western Cedar with a clear finish.
The wall were not painted, but are an integrally colored Dryvit. The windows are Marvin Clad windows, one of their standard colors.

Susan, Thanks for your question. The windows are clear vertical grain fir and the fascia and soffit (vertical and horizontal wood roof conditions) are clear cedar. All of the wood is finished with Sikkens Cetol 1/23
Thanks for your question. It is a stock flush panel wood garage with Luan (mahogony) panels and a Sikkens clear finish (078 Natural). Hope that helps. Thanks! Rick

What is the color of the window trim? is it metal or wood?

You mentioned before that the windows were "dark bronze"...were you referring to the glass or the trim?

Windows are from Thermal Windows (aluminum) and Paint color is SW 7029 Agreeable Gray... Which is quickly becoming a go-to color for me on interiors as well. It's not warm or cool, but somewhere in the middle.
The siding is indeed Hardie 4x10 with 1x2 Fir battens. They were chosen to achieve a "smooth" modern look as opposed to the wood grain texture. The roof is just a paint grip finish (roofers primer). Different manufacturers paint grip will patina different shades of grey.

I want to build a house like this in Holland. Could you tell me what wood was used for the exteriour?
The colors are different because of the different wood species and finishes.
It is reclaimed barn wood. I do not believe that it was whitewashed.
