and a charcoal 1st floor level which overhangs the basement garage ( similar to the photo). We are high up on a hill so our cladding runs horizontally to lower the house which sits on the side of a steep hill. Wondering whether to have a dark soffit to enhance that dramatic dark top storey or whether

to have the ceiling and the soffit the same colour in terms of how you experience the interior space. If the exterior look is more important then the dark soffit would probably work better.

The design of any home is planned to to suit a client's particular needs. Your designer or architect would work this out to suit your own project

I believe that the paint colors are as follows: the cream color on the main house is Benjamin Moore Windsor Cream 913; the dark gray color of the porch, windows and trim is also a Benjamin Moore color, either 1596 NightFall, or 1582 Deep River.
