homes take advantage of precarious real estate. This home is built on a cliffside. What you're looking at isn't their yard, it is a green roof. The elevator takes you down into the house. Pretty slick!

a 1980s split level house in the Virginia suburbs. Main level includes reading room, dining, kitchen, living and master bedroom suite. New front elevation at entry, new rear deck and complete re-cladding of the house. Interior: The prototypical layout of the split level home tends to separate the entrance
second floor landing was opened up to create a double height space, with enlarged windows. The rear wall of the house was opened up with continuous glass windows and doors to maximize the views and light. A new simplified single level deck replaced the old one.

Are the glass panels single pane and is it a butt-glazed system?
Steel, glass and reinforced concrete. The shape of the roof is favoured here in South Africa, and other warm climates because it expels hot air.

I am looking for French or Carriage doors to replace and overhead garage door. I would like glass panes on the top half. I am flexible on material but need to be durable since it will be exposed to the elements. I would like to avoid custom if possible
