Rear deck idea off the kitchen
floating wood deck on patio stones and built in storage cabinet
the wood cabinet to the left of the door, it seems like a possible storage not deep enough,,,, i guess perfect for
Interesting transition to new patio. Use 2 wood landings like this off the kitchen and upper mudroom entries.
8. Slim-profile outdoor cabinet. If space is limited, a slender storage piece like the one shown here can be tucked in just about anywhere and still hold a surprising amount of gear

I want to redo my kitchen - specifically the cabinets and walls. since I live in a log home, 3 of the 4 walls are logs (18" diameter). The floor is 12" X 12" tiles in a mixture of slate

Like the front window, the back window projects from the house, cantilevered a foot or two above the ground. But unlike on the the front, all the glass here is clear, and the area inside is an extension of the floor, giving more space for seating near the kitchen.
