have small rooms with long narrow hallways. However in this case with the walls burned out one can see from one side of the house to other creating a huge feeling space. It was decided to totally open the East side of the house and make the kitchen which gently spills into the living room and wood burning
long hallway opens to two bedrooms, shared bathroom and master bedroom. The end of the hallway opens to a casual living room and the swimming pool area. What are the hardwood floors in living room?
1700 sf, "used pier & beam?"(cinder blks. & shems) whatever!! D/T my land is gumbo, clay!! Hate it!! Anyway, need to have it leveled so I can start w a redo on it. So where can I get info on the columns & how do they hold up to keep the house level? Tired of being ripped off!!!
you just answered my own question. Thanks a bunch. We have a 70's version, live in semi tropical and think its time it had a slight rethink regarding siding, of which there is thankfully not much. I'm guessing the siding would be suitable for dormer windows too.

I know you are a the architects but do you know the landscaper? I live relatively close to Naperville
