materials are Arizona Sandstone. The pavers are 1-1/2" thick set on a concrete base slab. The walls and mailbox are constructed out of cement block with a ledger style sandstone veneer. The pots are custom with a colored concrete additive to be complimentary with the adjacent materials.
question. If you are asking what is the pink flowering plant directly under the trees, they are Penstemon, an perenial flower. The trees are Japanese Maples or Acer Palmatums.
The two trees are matching Japanese Maples, or by the botanical name "Acer palmatum"

Our 1954 Mid Century Ranch Home, Napa, CA
Completed front, with half of asphalt driveway taken out and replaced with concrete padding, a gravel path and landscaping. Landscape architecture designed by Roche + Roche
Can you please tell me if you bought the concrete rectangles and had them arranged on site or were they poured on-site. If not poured on-site, where did you get them please? Also, who made the Corten Steel planter please? Many thanks!
The concrete pads were poured on site see (http://www.napaproject.com/2012/10/concrete-poured.html) . The corten steel planter boxes were custom made for us by OnSpot Welding in Novato.

The green exterior "tiles"..are they concrete board? Did you paint it or was it manufactured this color?
In another photo, you can see there are concrete 'tiles' or mat. If you google "drivable mat", you will find examples. I think that's what was meant by porous.
Transition from pervious concrete to permeable pavers near garage.
There are even pervious asphalt and concrete options that can replace traditional materials on high-traffic driveways or entry roads. Basically, the structure of these materials is similar to that of conventional concrete but with wider pores. I’ve heard conflicting conclusions about
because of the reduced risk of accidents from standing water or ice. From what I understand, research is still being done on the performance of porous concrete in cold weather.

Concrete slabs in back @ door
This is one style of garden we did not explore. Asian. Here the concrete slabs set at geometric opposing angle creates and interesting niche for plantings that remind me of your area inside. Your house has a very Asian
