I love the look of horsetail but a nursery advised against it because it can crack cement.
Hi I'm not sure where you're located but most nurseries in Southern California carry these in 1 and 5 gallon containers. I would suggest calling around where you live. Thanks!

Summerwinds Nursery carries Gingko's but they are relatively small and it takes some time for the tree to get established and start gaining significant height. We have also used Capitol Wholesale Nursery in San Jose. This should be a fairly easy tree to find

removed. Seedling sabals are more difficult to transplant, so it’s worthwhile to pay extra for getting trunked specimens delivered from a specialty nursery. They will arrive without leaves and can be planted directly in the ground upon delivery. To get them established quickly, transplant from fall to

Thanks no problem. Its called Live Roof. Go to, ... . Because I also am in So Cal. I actually went to the nursery where the material is grown in Santa Maria and design / selected material on site.
green roof, nice landscape design for the patio area, use of lots of greenery and modern look
entry garage at the front of the house you could prepare the roof of the garage to be a patio/deck area for the second story similar to the house Phil designed on Palm. I love those garage doors.
