It falls into the courtyard and then into surface drains. On the back side, it falls into a gravel trench with a drain at the bottom.
Does the open area require a drain at bottom? How did you handle water or snow melt if applicable? We have an exterior stairway into a basement entrance which has a drain but it gets clogged with leaves and water ends up in basement through entranceway
