The windows and doors are well intergrated into the design. The though given to create cross ventilation surely makes this house feel fresh and open all the time. The opening of the basement and creating a beautiful retaining wall to look.
The windows come from Marlin Windows in Eastern Washington. The doors are made by a Fleetwood Window&Door in California. The dark and light colors of thermally broken anodized aluminum windows and doors are usually similar enough to match.

Concrete slab above windows blocks harsh summer sun from entering through window, but still allows sun to enter during winter
