The GO Home Passive House
What are the specs for the solar panels? Output, brand, etc. How much power do they put in to the grid at a given time(full sunny day versus cloudy)?
Cost, and share of that cost atttributable to Solar collectors
Elsewhere on the web and in the book Prefabulous, this house is discussed. The cost is shown as $225,000 for about 1500 ft^2 of floor space, of $150 per ft^2. Does that cost include the solar collectors, etc.? If so, what is the rough

The doors/windows and the PV panels
Doors and windows are by Blomberg. The solar laminate P.V. panels were installed on the ground in-between the new standing seam metal roof panels before they were put on the roof. Do not know the manufacturer of the laminate strips nor if they can be owner installed. Clients had to purchase the laminate

to reduce the amount of windows
In the winter passive solar design takes as much heat as possible from the sun. This means orienting the house toward the sun’s path and making sure that the winter sun’s low angle is able to penetrate as much of the inside of the home as possible.Learn more about this Passive House
