Mathews Entry

Questions1
The entry to this house is highlighted by the terraced steps and porch, taking advantage of the large Spanish Oak tree on the site.
Like the terraced steps as you approach the front door.
Steps, roof line, black metal framing
steps set in gravel bed - reflects oak
Love the different steps - they're probably blue from lighting?
These steps negotiate the slope from the street to the entry.
A technique similar to the previous example happens in this house, with solid steps set into gravel beds framed with metal edging. The steps have an appealing informality, perhaps inspired by the large oak tree.

ditto comments about having the steps curve
Love how the stone steps were incorporated into the landscape...was thinking of this for the farm as the property has points where it his higher than others. I think it gives it character.
