This small project in the Portage Bay neighborhood of Seattle replaced an existing garage with a functional living room. Interesting mix of modern and traditional
modern + traditional, black + white
occasional bit of traditional architecture means that mixes of the two (be it in one building or in neighbors) are worth covering. Diversity in architectural form and creative juxtaposition of styles are healthy, in my mind.
The project that illustrated my resolution to embrace the traditional is the remodeling
