Great solution to living room tv. It's on the back of the fireplace in an ALMOST open living room.
Good idea! One side for the TV room, another for reading/entertaining, etc.

Is it ok to put your tv against the wall of a thoroughfare?
My entry door is into our narrow living room. The only place I can think of having the tv without being too close to it is on the wall of the thoroughfare to get to the rest
Here is my plan. Would it be silly to put my tv on the wall as you walk on the front door on the left next to the master bedroom door? It's only so I can allow enough room for a couch to Go comfortably in the living area.
