Imagine this space without that iconic sculpture......
hall and the translucent windows at the lower left.
Not only is the backlit hedge grazing the beautiful wood-clad wall, but it underscores the architecture of this modern design and aligns with the illumination within the glass hall and the translucent windows at the lower left.
Would not want to create places where someone could hide but I like the open "recessed-ness" of the entry. Think it would be really dramatic with windows on either side that would allow for view to the woods on the other side of the house. This design would definitely need something to fill the space
wall, drawing attention to this home's siding material, projecting plant shadows and balancing the strong light emanating from the backlit frosted window glass on the left side of the photo.

bringing the scale closer to the other surfaces. The lines relate to the windows, a way of anchoring them to the stucco, rather than having them appear to float.
Control joints on stucco align with windows. Large expanse of wood to section off.
Like the design created with the control joints on the stucco around the windows. We could use this or large fiber cement panels.

The windows are Pella wood simulated divided light, low E, Argon gas, with aluminum clad exteriors. They are Pella's tan color.
Are the grilles in your window wood or are they 'in between glass' grilles? Also, what color are the window trims/grilles?
Example of French Normandy Elevation. Would look good without the tile roof
Arches over windows, columns at entry
Like Elevation of the middle section. Also like the French Doors to replace bedroom windows and the added railings. Like the trim, can do French doors on the lower level too or do a bump out.
I like the limestone exterior, Windows but prefer black
